Wow what a wonderful prize! I’d love to grow basil and coriander but when I’ve tried in the past (outdoors), they have withered up so I’m sure that an indoor herb garden would keep them alive!
one of my conncotions where I throw peppers mushrooms chicken and spices in a dish and add a tin of tomtoes it is lovely x

I would love this as it is both a mini allotment to jazz up my kitchen but also free food! I would use the herbs to season up some home made sauces (trying to get on a health kick) and maybe season some stir fry.

I’ve just been looking to buy herb pots and these are so pretty! I’d make cherry tomato and basil quiche as it tastes so much nicer than shop bought, especially fresh from the oven!

One of my favourite summer recipes for including fresh herbs is my Fresh Herbs with Rice dish. I cook basmati rice in my rice cooker then melt butter in a large frying pan and add the rice along with a selection of fresh herbs: basil, chives, coriander, mint, tarragon, etc. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice at the end.
